The government has been spending lavishly on the military, as part of its deepening strategic alliance with US imperialism against China, while refusing to make the necessary investments in a rail system that is a crucial means of transportation for the country's more than a billion people. Zelensky said of the enormous cost in lives of the offensive, "it can go a variety of ways, completely different. But we are going to do it, and we are ready." Furious over the meager across-the-board $1.56 pay increase, dockworkers along the West Coast were absent from work last Friday, leading to the closure of several terminals. The deal would effectively transform the Transport Workers Union into a division of management to drive up worker productivity. The tentative agreement is a deliberate and ruthless stab in the back of television and film writers, in the second month of a strike against the AMPTP, which represents major film and television studios and networks. The court determined that the four defendants had formed a criminal organization that targeted, attacked and injured neo-Nazis. Sánchez has not brought down his own PSOE-Podemos government in order to campaign against the right, but to coordinate with it and with NATO an escalation of the war with Russia. For the ruling class, Waters' "crimes" are that he has opposed the US-NATO-instigated war against Russia in Ukraine and vocally supported the Palestinian people in the face of criminal attacks on them by Israel.
