The National Security Strategy formulates more explicitly than previous strategy papers that concrete imperialist interests are at stake. Amid this deepening crisis, Chinese public health officials have sought to allay fears by recycling the same propaganda and lies first promoted by the Western imperialist powers. Yellow's investors are demanding further cuts to jobs and wages as the company faces bankruptcy with $1.6 billion in debt. The International Youth and Students for Social Equality (IYSSE) is standing five candidates in this year's Student Parliament (StuPa) elections at Berlin's Humboldt University. The preoccupations of the parliamentarians, staffers, other members of the political elite and corporate journalists are a world away from the issues facing working people.
