The fascist gunman who killed eight people in Allen, Texas, was a supporter of antisemite Nick Fuentes, who was Trump's dinner guest at Mar-a-Lago last fall. United Auto Workers officials were forced to call the strike after workers rejected a UAW-backed tentative agreement by 99 percent. The Evangelical Student Community is attempting to illegally cancel the room it rented to the IYSSE on the Westend campus, justifying this by citing the youth organization's anti-war positions. Hatchet Speed, who spent more than 20 years in the US Navy as cryptologic technician and intelligence analyst, was previously sentenced to three years in prison for stockpiling illegal silencers, which he planned on using in a kidnapping and assassination plot targeting Trump's political enemies and Jewish people. A speech by National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan last month has made clear that concerns over the US decline are very much front and centre in the development of both economic and "national security" policy. Workers were never given copies of the contract before voting, and balloting partly took place in a "voting bus" sent to the picket line. "They want the kids in school, so parents are on the job to keep the so-called ceconomy running. They will sacrifice as many people as needed. How can a child die, and we get no communications?" The Maldives is being torn by intensifying geopolitical and military rivalries between China, on the one hand, and India and the US, on the other. While the two leaders denounced the supposed threat posed by North Korea, their real purpose is closer collaboration in unison with the US in preparation for war with China. The basic right of freedom of assembly is being repressed with increasing ruthlessness in Germany. In some areas, people are waiting years for essential medical appointments which are supposed to be conducted within weeks, placing their health and their lives at risk. As well as possible employment and education prospects, the fall in recruits and retention reflects broad anti-war sentiment, particularly among youth, who do not want to be sacrificed in imperialist wars abroad. More than half (56 percent) of the educators surveyed thought their workload was unacceptable and that they did not have sufficient control over it.
