The event exposed the Morenoites' reactionary nationalist pro-militarist policy, giving a platform to military personnel and figures who defend the bloody 1964-85 dictatorship. Police repression of anti-Genocide students and other protesters continues in New York with the full support of campus administration and the Democratic Party The nominations from the CDU and CSU show that the shift to the right that is taking place in the US under Donald Trump is not exceptional. To effectively counter police violence, the following is needed: the development of a movement in the working class that unites workers of all backgrounds, skin colours and nationalities. Over a more than hour-long Zoom meeting, union officials offered no concrete plan to halt the outsourcing of porters, housekeeping, catering, and estates staff into a SubCo, in a transparent privatisation operation. It is impossible to have safe working conditions as long as Amazon and other workplaces are under the thumb of Wall Street oligarchs. In Bolivia, thousands of miners and supporters presented demands to the Arce administration relating to fuel shortages and high prices. Hundreds of healthcare workers across Saskatchewan, Canada rallied to demand an improved contract. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass unveiled a proposed budget that slashes 1,647 city jobs. This requires rank-and-file action committees to prepare coordinated actions, not waiting for permission from above by Democrats and union officials who are acting as Trump's enablers.
