The large rallies headlined by Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez demonstrate the growing audience for anti-capitalist, anti-war and socialist politics. But if this healthy impulse is to be developed, it must break free from Sanders and the Democratic Party. A federal judge has temporarily halted the revoking of deportation protections for 532,000 Cuban, Haitian, Nicaraguan and Venezuelan immigrants.
