Lai Ching-te's support for US imperialism exposes his phony concerns about "democracy" and "peace" in the Indo-Pacific and around the globe. To legitimize their support for the Gaza genocide, Taiwan's rulers are seeking to whitewash today's German establishment and the complicity of Zionist organizations, along with the "democratic" imperialist powers, especially the United States and Britain, in the Holocaust. Amid a fierce police crackdown, New Caledonia's unrest has exposed the class chasm between indigenous workers and youth and the French colony's political establishment. Chilling legislation points to intensifying AUKUS preparations for war against China. Six months after the Dutch general election, three far-right parties together with the Liberals (VVD) of incumbent Prime Minister Mark Rutte have agreed on forming the most right-wing Dutch government since the Second World War. Kenya and the entire African continent are being drawn into the maelstrom of an expanding global war. The continent's geostrategic position and vast mineral resources are viewed by Washington as critical in its conflicts with Russia, Iran and China.
