Sturgeon's resignation as leader of the SNP is ultimately an expression of the increasingly apparent bankruptcy of the program of Scottish separatism. As struggles mount against austerity across Europe and the NATO-Russia war escalates, workers need new organizations of struggle, independent of the union bureaucracies.
