NHS FightBack campaign teams distributed a statement, "No to Labour's NHS privatisation! Oppose mass staff transfer to private subsidiaries!", calling on workers to join an online Zoom meeting (May 19 at 7 p.m.) to discuss a socialist strategy to resist the attacks on the NHS. Not a single party raises the real issues confronting Portugal's workers: the descent of capitalism into world war, the escalating crisis of the European Union, or the devastating impact of trade war, austerity and militarism.
