Dear reader, Here are the latest articles published today on the World Socialist Web Site. The Supreme Court's decision Friday upholds the Biden administration's claim of unrestricted powers to separate married US citizens from their immigrant spouses, preparing the way for a vast escalation of attacks on basic rights. Four people were killed and 144 were injured Sunday, when a US-made long-range missile fired from Ukraine released cluster bomblets over a busy beach in Sevastopol. Workers and young people must reject Quebec nationalism and anti-immigrant prejudice—both in the unabashedly chauvinist forms advocated by the Parti Québécois and the CAQ government, and the hypocritically "polite," ostensibly "inclusive" variant promoted by the pseudo-left Québec Solidaire. "I'm so over this business of spending my weekends volunteering. What a sad state of affairs it is when our taxes can't cover essential medical equipment for a rural town." The furore has served to further bury the reality of what is occurring in Gaza, while the Labor government that is complicit in the mass murder has presented itself as a wounded party.
