The empowering of neo-Nazi figures such as Krotevych and the open backing of fascism by Western imperialism comes as the Zelensky regime is escalating the persecution of opponents of the war and suppression of democratic rights. Since the strike began, there have been over 100 new clients requiring food support—almost triple the monthly average. Poverty levels in the area, according to the last census, showed that 11 per cent of people living in Guelph were low-income families.
