Dear reader, Here are the latest articles published today on the World Socialist Web Site. In the final two months of the elections, both parties, the Democrats and Republicans, are engaged in a massive political deception. For the first time since the end of the Nazi dictatorship, a right-wing extremist party has become the largest party in a German election. On 28 June, Postbank, which was taken over by Deutsche Bank in 2009, terminated the SGP's account, which it had maintained for over 50 years, without providing any reason. As air strikes on hospitals continued in Gaza and the Israeli military stepped up its assault on the West Bank, Democrats and Republicans demanded retaliation for the death of six more Israeli hostages.
