The WSWS must be in a position to provide leadership to the struggles of the working class.

Earlier this week, we released a powerful appeal for financial support by David North, chairman of the World Socialist Web Site International Editorial Board.
North explained that the WSWS is the only publication fighting to build a mass socialist movement in the working class to stop imperialist war, genocide, and fascism.
We have seen an important initial response to this appeal. But the fact is that there is much more work to be done.
