For the past quarter century, the WSWS has analyzed every major international political, socio-economic, cultural and intellectual event from a Marxist-Trotskyist perspective. Marking this anniversary, WSWS International Editorial Board chairman David North noted, "The archive of the WSWS testifies not only to the scope of its coverage, but also to its depth of insight and farsightedness. Its work substantiates the critical role of Marxism as a science of political perspective. The response of the WSWS to the major events of the last quarter-century has stood the test of time."
While we celebrate the achievements of the WSWS, we are not resting on our laurels. The greatest crisis in the history of mankind is now upon us. The outbreak of war in Ukraine threatens a catastrophe of unprecedented magnitude, far exceeding even the horrors of the two world wars of the twentieth century. The fight for world socialist revolution acquires ever greater urgency.
We call on all readers and supporters of the WSWS to join us in carrying forward the work of the site, which faces ever greater demands as the class struggle intensifies. Our editorial staff must be enlarged to respond to its practical and political challenges.
