A PSOE-government is not the answer to the far-right. To the extent that workers continue to accept the PSOE and Sumar as a lesser evil, this will only disarm them politically. That the radiographers and doctors are fighting alone in their disputes points to the terrible consequences of the union bureaucracy's sell-outs in the health sector finalised in May and June. Almost half of the membership voted to continue industrial action for a pay rise, but the Health Services Union is using the result to ram through real wage cuts.
